The Birth of Our Lady

This church was built 1770 on the place where a wooden church was standing for three centuries until it was burned down by the Sweden army in 1634. The current church was let to dilapidate after its pewter organ and bell were confiscated during the World War I. Eight years after a costly reconstruction in 1943 it was closed again. Finally, in 1992 another reconstruction begun, partially paid from the concerts of classical music held in the church.
