St Wenceslaw

On the over the village Dřetovice stands a well kept baroque church of St Wenceslaw. It was built in the gothic style before the year 1352 as a parish church for the village Kralovice. When Kralovice was burned down in 1485 it became a part of the parish of Lidice, and finally became part of Dřetovice in the nineteenth century. By that time it was already rebuilt in the baroque style - the bell-tower and added and baroque altarpieces (one of which was made by W. Kandler) were the most noticeable changes.
